Our Story
It all started when our founder, John Smith, was looking for a good pair of slippers for himself. Having wide feet, he struggled to find slippers that were roomy enough while still looking sleek. The flimsy materials of most slippers also meant they wore out quickly. John knew there had to be a better option.
Being a skilled cobbler with over 20 years of experience, he decided to design his own pattern and source premium materials to handcraft his ideal slipper. The first prototype was for himself, but the slippers were such a hit with family and friends that he knew he was onto something good.
In 2005, Zigzagger® was born in a small workshop, making men’s slippers from scratch, one pair at a time. We started off selling online and at local fairs. As word spread, demand grew, and we moved production into a bigger workshop to keep up.
Fast forward to today, and Zigzagger® has grown into a leading men’s slipper brand, although we remain proudly independent. Our slippers are still handcrafted with care in our own factory. From design to finished product, we oversee the whole process.

We use premium leather sourced from European tanneries. Our full-grain leather is naturally soft and durable, lined with plush shearling for optimal comfort. The stitched detailing adds style while reinforcing seams.
The unique pattern is shaped to match the contours of a man’s foot, with a roomy round toe area and wide opening for a relaxed fit. Our slippers won’t cramp your feet even after hours of wear.
The durable rubber sole provides grip and noise reduction on all floors. It’s also replaceable, so you can repair your slippers instead of throwing them out.
Every pair is hand-finished by our skilled cobblers. We take pride in perfecting every little detail so you can enjoy flawless slippers.

The Onksun has a sleek slide-on design with plush fabric uppers. For full coverage, the Folster surrounds feet in memory foam with a sherpa lining.
